A conversation with John S. Adams on the impact of dark money in politics

Join the New England Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists on Monday, November 2 at 4:30 p.m. for a free Facebook LIVE discussion with John S. Adams, founder, and editor of the Montana Free Press, on the impact of dark money in politics.

John S. Adams is the founding editor and executive director of Montana Free Press a nonprofit news organization focused on in-depth investigative, political and statehouse news coverage. Before that, he was the Capitol Bureau Chief of the Great Falls (Mont.) Tribune and a correspondent for USA TODAY. Adams is also the subject of an acclaimed documentary film, “Dark Money,” which explores the corrupting influence of untraceable corporate spending in political campaigns.

This event is being moderated by Irwin Gratz. Gratz has been a broadcast journalist for over 40 years and won a Yankee Quill Award in 2011 from the New England Newspaper and Press Association for his “broad influence for good, both inside and outside the newsroom.”
