A longtime member of the New England Newspaper & Press Association (NENPA), Meyer has served on its board for many years and as board president in 2022. She has been widely recognized for her contributions to the industry, receiving numerous awards from NENPA and other organizations, honoring her commitment to journalistic excellence and the principles of open government, including the New England Society of News Editors Judith Vance Weld Brown Spirit of Journalism Award in 2018.
